Default Building Datacenter near beach

It is not recommended to build a datacenter close to the beach but what things I need to know if my datacenter is 2km away from the water?

markton,
first thing you need to remember is to make your entry, lobby and other non-critical centers on the bottom floor and first floor. Keep all the vital equipments in the top floors because of flood.
If you are expecting hurricane then make sure your building walls can resist the wind pressure. Talk to your architect about the resistance.
In beach areas there will be salt water air which can be very harmful for your equipments. so make sure you have fresh air controlling system in the building.
Hope these tips will be helpful.
