Does anyone know how many datacenters google have? I am wondering why google does not reveal information about its various datacenters. Do you think it gives google a competitive advantage?
Ha ha, Chuck Norris to the rescue. Google has loads of data centers all over the world, after all, they have to, right? They're Google. Start with the resource shared, it's pretty informative.
Google does indeed own a large number of data centers in various different locations. This is also why not everyone receives the same results when searching for the same keyword.
I believe google has the most data centers in the world, after all, they're after world domination, am I right, guys? Joke aside, they would really need many many data centers to run their operation.
According to www.datacentertalk.com/showtherd.php
Google data centers, including spaces it leases there are 36 data centers 19 in the U.S., 12 in Europe, 3 in Asia, and one each in Russia and South America.Google has reportedly bought 466 acres of land.
