Default MI Datacenter Available, Might Help a Gulf Coast Company

New Orleans and the surrounding area has suffered a tremendous loss. Many small businesses are probably in need of emergency operating facilities. Due to a companies' bankruptcy in the Detroit, MI area, I am aware of a good sized datacenter that is available and ready to go. The computer systems which once occupied this facility (AS/400, Stratus, and numerous servers) have just recently been shutdown and removed. However the infrastructure (UPS, air handlers, FM200 fire management, and phone system) are all still up and active. Also available in this facility are equipment racks, a number of IBM Netfinity 3000 servers, network printers, a T1 Internet connection, and general office facilities (cubes and offices) for 30+ people.

Although I don't have direct control of this facility. let me know if you have such a need, and I'll see if arrangements can be made for short term rental. A little more information can be found at: http://home.comcast.net/~rdnoble/datacenter.pdf or http://www.hurricanekatrinadisaster.org.
