Default CD drive to IBM boot issue

We are having an hardware issue while booting from CD drive to the IBM 7019. It is mostly saying about the short data command. We did several times to boot but still it is saying the showing the same error. Any help or suggestion?

Hi markton,
the IBM you are using is a very old version. This may not be compatible with the latest CD or any other drive. I dont know what you are trying to boot. But I can guess that it is not suiting with your IBM. You can change the IBM to a newer version. Whatever you are trying to boot from CD drive is too new for the device so if possible then collect an older version of the software you are trying to install. You can change your CD as well, maybe it has some error.
