At the moment Greece is one of the few countries that have not fully recovered from the crisis back in 2008. And it's a good time to invest in real estate market and
buy property in Athens because right now prices are low (44% cheaper than in 2008) and have a potential for significant growth. According to Trading Economics forecasts property prices across the country will grow by 22% on average between 2017 and 2020.
The easiest way to enter the market is to but a flat to lease. It's working because tourists are plenty and apartments for rent are less regulated than in Germany or Spain. Such flats have yields around 7-8% per year.
