Default interference visual on screen

Hi,

I notice in several racks a lot of interference on the screen of the "in rack monitors". These are used with a HP KVM switch to monitor the different servers in the rack.

The older KVM switches do not have these interference.

I have noticed this a few months ago, but is getting worse...

How can I look for the source of interference ?
Is this due to harmonic distortion ?

They have been working a lot on the electricity this year. Can a bad earth cable connection create interference?

Interference can be caused from a lot of sources. It is hard to tell which type of interference you are facing. Make sure you don't have magnetic or electric materials working in parallel with your screen if not then the problem is most likely in the switch.
