I feel that Plesk is better because it provides better support for automation, supports SuSE Linux and has a large variety of plug-ins.

I would say go with Cpanel as it's more widely used, stay with th "stable" tree so you don't run into bug problems, and their support is incredible.

I use cPanel and Plesk, but Cpanel is more friendly, but not secure as Plesk.

Cpanel for me, because it is user-friendly and it is widely used based on my experiences on working with different clients.

If you stay on the stable tree, CPanel will be allright. Hardly used Plesk, so I can''t compaire.

The basic difference between the two is the user interface.

Both plesk and cpanel are quire fast, secure, and reliable.

However, they differ in a few aspects:

Plesk
=====

Advantages

-Plesk features support automation

- more plug-ins

- Plesk is cheaper

- Plesk Supports SuSE Linux.

Disadvantages

-user interface is slightly harder to use and
customise

cPanel
======

Advantages

- different rtypes of s/w available integrate with it.

- Easy to use

Disadvantages

-Not supporting XML

- not supporting SuSE Linux

I love cPanel because with one click I can launch a new wordpress or phpbb site. It's simple to use, easy to find everything, and fantastic at installs.
