Default Upgrade problem

I was going to upgrade ESX 4.1 from ESX 4.0 but the update is failing every time. I tried a couple of times but the same problem is accruing. What could be the possible solution?

I think you are seeing an error that says a command is terminated because of signal 6. Just follow these steps and everything will run nicely.
1. You have to collect the pre-upgrade.zip. This bundle is much needed for the upgrade.
2. Then you have to run Idconfig.
3. Just install the pre upgrade bundle and you are good to go.
