Default Latest High-Tech Fire Protection Systems

On the forums I've seen that quite a few users are using fire extinguishers as their form of fire protection. There are much better fire protection systems available that don't nescessarily have to break the bank. Your fire protection system should also be environmentally friendly, and some fire extinguishers contain Chlorofluorocarbons, commonly known as CFC’s.

Here are a few options you coud consider for your fire protection system:
  • Pressurised CO2 Systems: The server room is sealed and if a fire is detected the room is filled with CO2, killing the fire im################y.
  • Aspirating Smoke Detection Systems: If used with clean agent gases it can kill a fire before a human can see or smell it.
  • Emergency Power Off (EPO): Cuts off the power to a server room but should only be used when entirely nescessary.

I'm not saying you shouldn't use fire extinguishers, I'm just saying it shouldn't be your only form of fire protection.

Regards,
ford
