Default Need to host 8 servers now and planning to grow up to 60 within a year.

I need a colo or just to dedicated servers configured to my needs.

That’s why I post it both in Colo and Dedicated requests forums. If it is not ok, mods, feel free to delte my post in one of the forums.

I want all my servers:

1. to be connected in the private network.
2. to have KVM access. KVM/IP + ordinary extended cascading switch is ok
3. to have a remote reboot port.
4. to have a good ping times both from US and Europe. Please provide ip/ips for tests.

I ready to discuss both dedicated or colo options.

I. In case of the dedicated option I will need the following servers:

Config #1
– now 2 servers
Dual Opteron 248+ or Dual Xeon 3.2 +
8GB RAM
RAID10
62 Ips per server
4 X 147GB Hot-Swap SCSI

Config #2 – now 4 servers
Dual Opteron 248+ or Dual Xeon 3.2
2GB RAM
2 X 300 GB SCSI
One server with 62 ips – others - 8 per server
Each server will consume 400-700 Gb of bandwidth at the highrst point

Config#3 -2 servers
CPU -no preference
RAM - at least 256 MB
HDD - the more the better - it's a backup server
Should have around 1Tb+ storage and will be connected only to the private network

Also I will need remote reboot and KVM for each server except backup servers.

And we plan to purchase 50 servers of type1 and type 2 and 10 backup servers within a year.

II In case of the colo option:

- We’ll need a full rack +50 Mbit to start off
- We plan to expand to 4 racks and 200 Mbit within a year.
- Colo company should have their OWN staff onsite 24/7 at a reasonably price for rare emergency situation (OS restore, hardware swap, etc.). we won’t need much support because we’ll have remote reboot ports + KVM

Optional requirements:

It would be handy in case colo company could offer contacts for their partners offering hardware at a reasonable price
Discounted licenses for Virtuozzo, Plesk and Direct Admin would be a plus, but we can purchase them ourselves.

Default Viawest Internet Services is interested in your Colocation, Managed Hosting, and DR

Hello

ViaWest www.viawest.net is a profitable, Denver based provider of Managed Hosting, Colocation, and Business Continuance solutions. In other words, we provide network and server infrastructure, security services and data back-up solutions for mission critical applications. We have had 100% up time for all of 2002-2005 and are the ONLY provider in Denver that has never lost power to a customer. We back our services with a 100% SLA and 100% Customer Satisfaction Guarantee. Companies like eCollege - www.ecollege.com, Echostar - www.echostar.com and The Denver Broncos - www.denverbroncos.com have outsourced the hosting of their Intranet, Extranet and other web applications to ViaWest so they are always available. We have offices in CO, AZ, UT and NV.
Customer survey through the local firm of ccintellect and here are some of the results: 9 out of 10 of our customers would refer us to colleagues and associates We came back with a 95% customer satisfaction rating, The highest rating ccintellect has ever seen in any industry. Our customers see us as a partner, not a vendor, and they like the fact that we have positive cash flow and are profitable as well as our track record with regard to up time and the fact that we offer a100% SLA and customer satisfaction guarantee. Would you be interested in possibly coordinating a 20 minute meeting to discuss or would you be interested in a tour of one our World class data centers? Please let me know your thoughts and what your availability looks like if interested.
Thank you,

Would you consider The Netherlands as an option?

Do you require the drives to be SCSI?
Prices would be lower if you wanted SATA II HDD's

#1
about $600/mo

#2
~$500/mo

#3
$200/mo

Colocation

$699 for Full Cabinet +50Mbit commit of premium multihomed bandwidth $3,000
so maybe $3699 for the full cabinet

check out www.complexdrive.com for colo
