Default network critical issues

Hi,

What are the network critical issues do you see most of the time and how to resolve it?
Do you see problem with carriers mostly? Or the problem with router or switch configurations?

Thanks

Perhaps your question should read "What problems do you not find?" Every company and every network is so dynamic that so many factors can come in to play. A lot of this is also answered by the skills and abilities of the network administrator(s) of both the company as well as the carrier. I have seen many carriers screw up a connection as well as many companies that screw up their connections. It is mostly the companies with rookie network admins that suffer the most. Router and switch configurations are probably the biggest culprate of them all. Ironically enough, most companies will find that their biggest critical downtime is experienced while they are reconfiguring their network in order to add redundancy.
