Banning for spam
Have any of you had to ban from your network or server due to spamming?

Yes, we do have to shutdown clients now and then for spamming. First time the client gets a warning, next time we'll shutdown the server.

How often do you have to do that?

I like to see a host who does ban people for spamming. I just wish all hosts would do it.

We have never had to ban any one as of yet.

Did you ever run 'spam friendly' through your favorite search engine. It turns out that black listing and banning of web hosts with spammers has spawned an offshore 'spam friendly' business opportunity. Actually, offshore turns out to be China half the time. What caught my eye was the massive hosting charges these so called 'bulletproof' web host charge.
