Default Modular Data Centers

I found the following article very interesting. The idea of the modular data center where data centers are built using factory built components does sound like a money saving idea. Will this type of data center creation become the standard? Or are we medium sized businesses still going to go it completely alone. Thoughts?

I can certainly see that modular data centers will be a thing of the future. This is a very interesting article and I wish we were creating a new datacenter right now so that we might be able to use some of this modularity. I just can't see this being very helpful to a small shop like ours unless we were to completely re-make our data center some time down the road.
