Default Dealing with TPM's

Hello All,
My company is in full cost-cuttings mode for 2012. As part of the project, my CIO has put me in charge of looking at alternative maintenance providers for our hardware equipment. I know there are plenty of providers out there but I'm looking for an objective opinion/experiences as all the companies I've contacted say they're the best and of course I always hear the good stories. I'm hoping you all can help me out.

We have locations in MN, NJ and NC and are running some i-Series, Poweredge, SunFire, Clariion boxes with Cisco running our network. Does anyone have some suggestions on who I can look at? Any problems with SmartNet alternatives? Problems with OEM's taking away discounts on future hardware purchases? I appreciate any help you can provide

Thanks
