colocating.need help with servers
I have decided to colo my own servers but i have no knowledge about servers and hardware. I need server on which i have minimum the following specs.
2U server
4GB or 8GB of ram.
Intel Xeon Dual core or Quad Core Processors
1TB 2 hard drives with RAID 1
I selected quadranet for colo and i will purchase two servers one for backups and one for our hosting accounts.
What should be the pricing for hardware? and which things is necessary for servers to buy with during order.

Well, just ask your colo provider what you need, wher its best to buy and so on. The should help you with it.
