Exclamation UPS bypass source from different service?

Ladies/Gentlemen....I am from the electrical/mechanical side....anyone have a site where your UPS system #2 (newly installed Mitsubishi) bypass circuit source of power comes from another UPS system, our UPS system #1 (existing 30 year old Exide) in order to sync both UPS systems instead of providing a load sync bus system? Our floor loads are provided power from Liebert PDU static switches where one side will be fed from the Mitsubishi and the other from the Exide. In my experience this has never been done before....anyone have an opinion?

I never heard of that, but I suggest you give powerts.com a call they are in Franklin Lakes, NJ and are experts in DC engineering and building.

I'd put money into replacing the ancient Exide UPS box (30 yrs ), rather than investigating how to sync such different sources.

Default Isolated redundant?

We set up UPS systems where the bypass source of the primary UPS is another UPS. Its called an isolated redundant configuration and is a common way to improve reliability and availability in data centers. Usually, the primary UPS is the only load on the bypass UPS in this configuration and we always go with matched UPS systems. (same brand, kva rating etc.)
