Default power consumption of server

my data center is planning to host new servers
825TQ-563LPB
Dual Intel L5420
64G ram
SuperMicro X7DBI(13X13.68)
2TB 3.5 Sata 7200 rpm HDs x8
HW raid card

how much power will it draw? does anyone have experience with this type of servers?

this server draws about 2.5-3A at 120V..you do the math.

depends on the type and number of hard drives and memory sticks you are using. but it sould not exceed 3 A at 120V

8 hard drives will probably use up most of this chassis' 560W power supply. I'd budget these at 4A until an actual measurement can be made.
