Default Environmental monitoring

What does everyone use for real time data center environmental monitoring? I have a variety of energy meters, temperature probes and humidity sensors, my emergency generator has a network connection and so do my UPS units, rack- and stationary PDUs. Not all of this data is available SNMP and certainly it's not all from the same manufacturer.

I'd like to automatically monitor and log the data and have a software package raise an alarm when threshholds I set are exceeded. IBM's Tivoli and HP's Open View are overkill for me. Most manufacturers of sensor hardware provide software, but only for their own devices. Can anyone suggest a package for a multi-vendor environment?
