Default Raid 1 disk failed

I need my backup server running. The first disk seems fine. I cloned another disk and it has failed. Is there any way to virtualize this disk in my server without booting?

This process depends on the the hardware or the server you are using. You can use some software to image the disk. Software like DriveImage Pro could be helpful for this kind of situation.
There is an alternative way as well. You can use the Linux Live CD and Linux command to image the drive part by part.
