Default Required Cisco equipment for new co-lo site??

I need to compile a list of basic gear required to turn up a new co-location facility. We are anticipating 2 racks, redundant power (no 208V), 15-20 servers, at least one SAN – possibly 2, VPN capabilities. What I really need is a list of Cisco gear needed. Any ideas??

Why not just call your Cisco salesperson?

Mod - please delete the above sales posting - not useful to the post at all.

rgilliland - what type of connectivity are you going to be getting (Ethernet, DS3, STM-1?).

What is your expected peak traffic load? How many PPS will you be passing? How much overhead do you want at this stage? What type of SAN are you going to be using (FC, iSCSI?) Are you thinking of pushing your SAN connections through the same network?

More importantly - what is your budget?
