Post Microsoft delays new data center in Iowa

Apart from laying off 5,000 more employees, in an effort to cut costs, the Des Moines, Iowa data-center, reportedly costing over half a billion dollars, has been put on hold indefinitely. Microsoft had been building data centers in Texas and Illinois, and had placed one recently in Dublin, Ireland. The move is only temporary but God knows when this economy will right itself for them to move forward again.
