Today data centers are shrinking in size because of modern technology. What once was a large data center has been reduced to about half. Many companies now are using the cloud and off site data centers for their needs. If you want to build a data center you'll need to decided on your space, requirements, back-up and disaster recovery. Furthermore, you'll need to decide on who will be responsible for maintaining all your equipment. Do you want to lease or own is yet another question you must answer.
