Hi there,

I am currently conducting research into data centres and am particularly interested in energy usage and energy cost data.
The specific information I am interested in includes the following:
- What is the total energy usage (not just usage of IT equipment) of a midsize data centre?
- What are the typical energy demands of a high-density rack?
- How many racks would a typical midsize data centre contain?
- How is the total energy requirement of a data centre broken down and divided between its various loads (IT equipment, cooling, overhead etc)?

It seems that information regarding specific total energy usage/requirements of data centres is very limited and has proven difficult to source.
Any insight anyone might be able to provide would be greatly appreciated.
