That might help keep pests away, but of course the best solution is to pest spray the whole building fairly regularly. And to keep people from dropping food around the place, and so on.

I do wonder what the benefit of hosting your data centers overseas is, especially since Singapore isn't all that cheap anyway. I guess they can hire workers for less money than if they built the data...

I suppose it's quicker/less work if you try cooling the whole room down instead of individual racks, right? But I suppose it's worth the effort for the amount of energy saved.

I've heard good things about Hostgator for a few years now, almost nothing bad. Their prices are pretty good, too, plus I think they give out coupons every month or so.
