I don't think you need to cluster a DNS server....

I don't think you need to cluster a DNS server. Why would your DNS server be under such a heavy work load? Just sounds odd to me to put that much money into a simple DNS server.

Thank you for your suggestions, but do you think a single server will be able to handle that many conenctions and requests at the same time? Some of these files are going to be rather huge in nature.

True, but for your average home user the best thing you can do is shut this service off. Your never going to use it and its taking up memory and resources your PC could be using otherwise.
