Power calculation for server racks

Hi Folks,

Need some light on power calculation in Data Centre.

Server rack has 2 power source A & B.

3 KW power is catered to this rack.

And assuming readings at Rack show 3 KW for both...

Is there a way to Control oxygen level of 13% in Data centre. Fire can't start below 15% oxygen and human health is not affected unless oxygen level is below 10%

Its a general rule of thumb for Data Centre...

Its a general rule of thumb for Data Centre design specified by TIA-942 standard. That will be for entire DC area designed. Out of lots of methods of calculating power, you cant go wrong with this...

Technically, No. But in countries where there is only one universal utility company(by government). There isn't a choice. Instead, improvising (i.e. N+2 or 2N+2) would be ideally close to Tier 4.

Breaking even with initial investment....well, that heavily depends on the above.
