Hi,
I install the CentOS linux 4.0 in VM ware workstation 5.0.
I use iso file to install.
I choose typical setting for the VMWare .
But when the vmware workstation power up,
I only get the attach screen and then nothing come out...
I try both the package of i386 and X86_64 version .
there are the same result .
Is the vmware support the CentOS ??
How to fix it ??
Please advice ...

VMware supports all types of Operating Systems

The VMware supports all types of Operating Systems.

CentOS works fine on VMware.

Please make sure that you have allotted enough RAM memory for the CentOS operating System.

Hi

Hi,

If you have any other ISO please do try with it, I think its the problem with the
installation media.

There is one step which is usually missed, you need to validate the md5 or sha1 checksums for the .iso image you are using.

eilert is correct

The log line suggest that the file may not have been downloaded correctly.
