IBM x335 server questions
 

Hello,
I was capable to get two IBM x335 for cheap, and I have some questions about these servers.
1) how much is the power consumption rate in average one month?
2) I have figured out that it has 8x 40mm fans (39dbA), which are very noisy. Is there a way to make it less noisy?

About the power consumption, you can go to the official website and see if they have revealed it in the product information. Also, if you have the manual of the servers then you can get the information. Each server has its own power consumption capacity.
And about the second question, sorry to say you can make the noise stop. The fans are designed like that and sadly you have to live with it. You can make a closet and put it there so that the noise wont come out that loudly. Otherwise there isnt much you can do about it.
