mixing 802.11g 108mb wireless devices from different vendors

I read about it somewhere and curious to know if it is possible to mix 802.11g 108mb wireless devices from different vendors?

I think it would be just fine; I think all 802.11g compatible devices use the same frequency so I don't think there would be a problem for that.

The 802.11g standard sets a maximum bandwidth of 54 mbps. Several manufacturers have developed proprietary ways to bind two channels together, doubling the speed to 108 mbps. Although some brands using identical chipsets and firmware may interoperate, multi-vendor compatibility is not something you can count on.
