I am new to the clustering thing and have no clue what it even is. Can you please tell me what it is and what VCS is the acronym for. thanks

Veritas Cluster Server (also known as VCS and also sold bundled in the SFHA product) is a High-availability cluster software, for Unix, Linux and Microsoft Windows computer systems, created by Veritas Software (now part of Symantec).
