Packet Sniffers
 

I after a packet sniffer that works within a network. I want it to record the following information:

The entire contents of the packet
The IP

I also want it to record incoming and outgoing packets from the machine I am using as well any other packets it can catch. I also want to be to analyse the binary within the packet.

The reason for wanting one is learning the 'code' used within various protocols, it will probably be easier than trying to find the right page on google all the time.

Yeah ethereal comes up first page, but theres nothing more useful than a non automated opinion.
