Second hand equipment?
 

Is there a place where you can buy second hand or refurbished equipment for data centers? I'm trying to figure out if there's such a thing as a low investment high profit data center. Thanks.

I do a lot of business with CxTech. They have an Equal2New program where they'll sell refurb/recertified equipment at good prices. I have not had many problems...the one time I did, it was fixed very quickly. Make sure you call in and get a rep, they really know their stuff.

We have never bought second hand equipment but have you tried checking ebay. I am sure you will be able to find some very good equipment at very reasonable prices.

Well, I guess is you reach the internet you can find a suppliers that supply second hand equipments. You just need to keep on searching.

Just a quick word of advice, be careful in choosing used equipment. With knowing the equipment is used you expect that some things will be "not the best" but make sure you buy from a company with a good reputation because I have saw so many get burned and spend a good amount of nothing and receive junk in return. :(
