Hello all,

This is my first post heare, so please - be gentle :-)
I have an opportunity to build a new DC, in est of Europe, and before I take this opportunity, I'm wondering what is the industry view from your perspective and what are the cost involved in a new DC. Does anyone has business plan for a DC or some other economical information that can be shared ?
Also, thanks for having a forum like this and i want to say that I will appreciate any advice or criticism :-d

Thanks

I would go for it. As the hosting industry is growing at large. Lots people are inneed of hosting.

I have to agree with MrZodiac. I must also point out that building a datacenter is quite enjoyable. If I had the couple million, I'd build one just for fun...! I can see it now...dual gensets, crac units, chillers, state of the art security, and 2 racks... Perhaps I will equinize it and add some nice spot lights and fancy overhead tray system....

I keep telling myself...I will get there some day!
