SAN ANTONIO – January 31, 2006 – Rackspace Managed Hosting today announced it has expanded its leadership team naming Alan Schoenbaum as general counsel. Schoenbaum has more than 20 years of experience in corporate and securities law representing growth companies. He will serve as a collaborative partner on the executive team to lead all of the company’s legal functions.

His 21-year practice at this leading international law firm primarily focused on mergers and acquisitions, public and private securities offerings, and private equity and venture capital transactions.
