Los Angeles. CRG-West announces launch of the new 7th Floor Data Center at One Wilshire – the world’s most interconnected building. Engineered at greater than 200 watts per square foot, the 7th Floor Data Center offers more than 6700 square feet of some of the most flexible space in Los Angeles. This high power, redundant, high cooling capacity space is perfect for both server collocation, as well as telecommunications carrier or network service provider switching.

The 7th Floor Data Center is fully interconnected with the One Wilshire Meet-Me-Room, and all other data center space within One Wilshire, Market Post Tower (San Jose), and other major Los Angeles data center facilities. CRG-West technicians offer remote hands services for all tenants, as well as additional utilities such as the Any2 Internet Packet Exchange.

One Wilshire and Market Post Tower are quickly becoming hubs for both entertainment and gaming, as well as voice over IP and Voice over Internet. In addition to offering world class data center space, the 7th Floor Data Center also offers unmatched opportunity for interconnecting operations among any of the world’s most prominent voice and interactive entertainment providers.

“The 7th Floor Data Center answers the collocation market’s demand for data centers to deliver greater capacity for cooling and power” said John Savageau, SVP Telecom Operations at CRG-West. “As servers become smaller and more powerful, data centers must be able to deliver additional electricity and cooling needed to ensure continuous operation of high density installations. One Wilshire has met that requirement, giving content and interactive media companies both the data center infrastructure they need, as well as unmatched access to global network communication providers.”
