How to change the default email settings in WHM?

Hi All,

Issue :

Whenever a new account is created, the server sends out an email notification. Where can this setting be accessed and modified?

Fix :

Just go to WHM >> Basic cPanel/WHM Setup >> Server Contact Email Address.
You can make the required changes there.

If I remember correctly, there is also a checkbox when you are setting up a new account that allows you to choose not to send that initial email notification, if you prefer.

Yes, it's an option right on the right side of the setup screen. I always disable auto emails.. they are annoying.

Yes, the option is there and I always disable it too. Actually I was thinking about enabling the feature. It can be useful to keep track of your account creation.

It can indeed be useful, especially if you have multiple people with full access to WHM that create/terminate accounts regularly. Makes keeping track of things a little easier.
