Datacentre Security

Do datacentres in the US have armed guards? I heard of a DC in near Dulles airport that has guards with MP5 submachine guns :eek:

its possible. depending on the type of data in those data centers. the main reason for the armed guards can be for the technology that is inside the data center itself. for example, a highly technological military data center which has information and technology not seen any where else in the world might have MP's standing guard.
