As new viruses are coming each day and the fear of unauthorized access in increasing, it becomes necessary to take regular backup of your sensitive data. You data can be lost or damage due to any theft, virus or natural calamities. You can store selected files or folders or entire system data on storage medias. You can also take data backup on a remote server. Such data on a remote server is placed in data center.
Data center make you able to restore your lost data anytime whenever disaster occur. It is considered as the best way to protect your sensitive business data.

Data Centers, Specifically Co-location environments, benefit a business on more then just security, fire, and safety concerns. Business who work through the right Co-Location environments have access to multiple ISPs, more so then if they were hosting in an office or fixed data center environment. Giving them the savings of having multiple ISP competing for their business, as well as the convience of choosing which carrier best suits their needs. Even the ability to start with the more cost effective solution before upgrading to the more powerful solution that a growing company will no doubt need, is a huge benefit
Power is another large benefit of the co-location industry, the ease in which you can move your environment from one location to another based on the ever fluctuating price of electricity costs in our industry is important. That in it self has major impacts on the cost of operating your servers.
The extra competition of co-locations fighting for your business helps drive the industry to develop more cost effective ways of doing business. Rather then one company focusing on one problem, you have an entire industry working on solving multiple problems.
Oh and Scalability, it is easy to grow in an environment purpose built to be expanded on (I.E. Co-Locations), as apposed to trying to knock down walls for your sever closet
That's why I believe Data Centers benefit business :)

I guess that using a colocation solution might be financially beneficial for companies seeking either for 1U or 1 Cabinet deals.
Colocation also gives you the utmost degree of server management you can never get using dedicated services.
We are observing the growth in the number of clients looking for 1U colocotion solutions, these are people with individual projects who would have chosen dedicated projects earlier.

Your resume looks great. The fact that you are bilingual Spanish should have gotten you a job for sure by now. Also, you have some pretty in demand skills and experience.
Maybe you have too many jobs on your resume? Did I count six jobs in under 5 years? That's a lot. Maybe fine tune it and try to present a less job-hoppy kinda impression.
It makes me wonder if you are getting fired from these jobs .. like maybe you can't fit in or something.
good luck!!

There is also more than just security and backup reliability with data centers, for growing companies. There is also the cost of staff to consider. Say you need some hardware replaced in you server, or you need maintenance done on your server. IT can be quite expensive to keep a single engineer on staff, and on call 24/7, this could essentially be more expensive than the server(s) you have. Now with a good data center, they should have their own staff on hand 24/7 so in case of an emergency you can use their staff to make the update(s) to your server. Which is of course expensive, but in the long run cheaper than keeping your own staff on hand in your office to keep your server running. This cost saving tool with data centers can help open up new revenue sources for you to grow your core business.

This reminds me of a time in my hay day of IT.
I came into a small business, that didn't have an IT staff on payroll.
The closest they had to IT,
was a teenager, who had setup the disaster recovery plan.
To be a weekly backup of data on a portable HDD.
*no knock on teens. But he was still in school. literallly, 11th grade!
As we began rolling out actual servers,
and IP and the works.
And the time it got up and running,
the external HDD, was actually lost.
Pardon me, "stolen" since it was in a purse that was stolen and left behind.
At a mini-mall.
I just think sometimes,
what would of happen if they didn't roll up a colo.
FYI, it was a CPA firm of 3 years.
That didn't want to invest heavily in IT>
Most offices have datacenters as well. Have your own datacenter is worthy for business and technological growth. However the initial expenses associated with datacenters for small/medium sized companies are high.
That's the reason why most people prefer colocation where a number of companies share the datacenter facilities with their own separate cabinets. This is less costly compared to having your own datacenter.
Here are a few tips before choosing dacenter solutions:

The main advantage With data center services is we do not have to worry about theft, viruses, spam, hackers, and even disasters. And also there is also the cost of staff to consider as said by TouchSupport-JonS.
Benefits typically include power, security, fire, redundancy, and connectivity. However, I think it's more important to consider a provider that can give you 1. colo, 2. molo (managed colo), 3. managed hosting, and 4. cloud. The 4 components must be in place so customers can migrate from 1 all the way to 4. The reason is because everyone is planning to go to the cloud and if the provider you pair up with doesn't have services that you can transition from colo to cloud then you might want to reconsider.

data center maintenance is a strenuous task. there are so many issues that one would have to look into. when you turn to a data center service provider, u leave all the maintenance to them. that is one strain off your back. now you can just focus on running your business instead of data center maintenance

Data centers were introduced during the dotcom boom to cater to the rising demand of data storage. Data Center stores critical computer systems and associated components for several companies and organizations.
