Access to Aggregation of Networks and Quality Physical Environment of Equinix Internet Hub to Ensure Reliable Web Operations

Foster City, CA - July 25, 2005 - Equinix, Inc. (Nasdaq: EQIX), the leading provider of network-neutral data centers and Internet exchange services, today announced that TicketsNow.com, the world's leading secondary ticket marketplace, will move the company's Web operations infrastructure to Equinix's Chicago Internet Business Exchange™ (IBX®) center. The move will enable TicketsNow to operate within a network-rich, state-of-the-art data center that will facilitate the most reliable delivery of the company's Web operations to customers.

TicketsNow is the largest and most trusted online marketplace for premium tickets to sports, concert, and theater events nationwide. With a business model built on customer loyalty, TicketsNow requires a Web infrastructure that guarantees the highest levels of speed and performance and a secure customer buying experience without interruption around the clock.

At Equinix's Chicago Internet hub, TicketsNow will have direct access to every top network providing access to end-users, offering the widest possible choice of connectivity services and providers. By operating within the same physical space as many of these strategic connectivity partners, TicketsNow can implement a more streamlined path between their Web site content and e-commerce operations and their end-users, resulting in higher performance and reliability. It also provides TicketsNow with a strong breadth of choices for backup networks in the event of a service interruption to a primary provider.

Under the terms of the agreement, TicketsNow will also utilize Equinix Direct, a service that enables buyers of Internet network connectivity to easily diversify their IP connections to any number of network providers in order to achieve more reliable performance and significant cost savings. The service will provide TicketsNow with a one-stop solution to implement the "network insurance" of direct connectivity to multiple networks, avoiding costly and prohibitive usage minimums by bandwidth providers, lengthy provisioning times, installation of complex router configurations for each network service provider, and the administrative challenge of managing multiple invoices from each network service provider.

"As customer loyalty is a critical element of our business, this agreement with Equinix represents our commitment to providing unmatched quality service to our customers," said Gene Golden, vice president, Information Technology at TicketsNow. "Equinix provides us with a platform and specific value-added services that will help us continue to offer the highest levels of site performance and uptime, while significantly growing operations."

"In selecting Equinix, TicketsNow has partnered with a provider that can offer virtually infinite network and infrastructure support to enable it to deploy the most high-performance Web operations," said Margie Backaus, chief business officer of Equinix. "The unique Equinix offering provides a 24x7 infrastructure which is robust, reliable, redundant, secure and scalable."
