(COMPANY NAME WITHHELD) Infrastructure Consultant helps our clients to use their technology investments to solve their business problems. Our consultant must possess extensive experience in system integration and deployment and be committed to creating value by delivering technology based solutions.
(COMPANY NAME WITHHELD) Infrastructure and Security Team (I&S) helps our clients by providing infrastructure, networking, and virtualization solutions. Our infrastructure work consists of creating plans, designs and then implementing the technical architecture and infrastructure. The solutions are mostly based on Windows and Intel platforms. Our network services provide internetwork strategy, architecture, assessments, network design, remote access solutions, implementation and operations support.
SKILLS
I&S team capabilities include:
Technical Architecture
Technical Infrastructure
Networking and Security
IT Operations
Consultant candidates must have:
5+ years or relevant technology architecture consulting or similar industry experience
Must have participated in one or more projects involving the design, development, testing, and/or production support of technical architecture (build, run operations, and security) that include key software components of application servers, virtualization technologies, operational components and security products
Bachelors Degree is preferred
MCSE or VCP certifications
Qualified Consultant candidates will have experience in at least 3 of the following areas:
Directory Service
MS Active Directory
Messaging and Unified Communications
MS Exchange 2003 or newer
MS Office Communications Server
Telephony Integration
Collaboration
MS Office SharePoint Server
Virtualization
VMware ESX 3.x
MS Hyper-V
Citrix Xen or Presentation Server
Infrastructure Operations and Management
MS MOM or System Center Operations Manager
MS SMS or System Center Configuration Manager
Backup and Recovery technologies:
MS System Center Data Protection Manager
Symantec Backup Exec and Net Backup
HP Data Protector

Juniper and Cisco products including switches, firewalls, load balancers and WAN accelerators

Excellent communication skills.
Managing concurrent projects and planning transitions between projects.
Negotiating project priorities with customers.
Demonstrate an ability to engage as a trusted advisor to clients and internal management on emerging technologies.
