Is it possible for my Cordless Telephone system to Interfere With my Wireless LAN? If yes then why does it haappen and what can be done to avoid this?
2.4 GHz cordless phones and microwave ovens can interfere with 802.11b and 802.11g wi-fi systems. 5.8 GHz cordless phones can interfere with 802.11a. New 802.11n wireless gear can use both frequencies, but has built-in features to help avoid interference.

Thanks for that information Ken; I didn't know microwaves and cordless phones can interfere with Wi-Fi frequencies. It’s a good thing I hate using cordless phones for my landline.
