We are about to move/rebuild one of our Citrix farms. When doing so, the Project Manager is wanting to change anti-virus programs due to problems he's experienced in the past. Currently our corporate standard is McAfee Enterprise Edition.
His specific request was for something that had a lower processor utilization. What would you guys suggest? We're looking into Symantec, but I'm thinking the processor utilization will be about the same or higher.

Well, that's a good discussion for client PCs, but I am looking for a discussion geared more toward enterprise level servers.
Hey Geckotek,
You might want to look into ZoneLabs.com
They have a little lower processor utilization than Symantec. I have not tried McAfee but I am gearing towards ZoneLabs. I'm not sure if they are compitable with your farm but you might want to check it out.

I'm a firm supporter of anything Symantec.

You may be better off going with something like a stand alone unit that does the work before it ever gets to your servers. It's pretty simple to set up a small server to handle the full load and function. The more important aspect of this is to handle the virus/spam/whatever before it gets to your servers.

I would look at ZoneLabs, great software!

I would like to note (this isn't really AntiVirus...) that PestPatrol is a nice solution in combination with an AV from ZoneLabs or Symantec. It gets rid of spyware/adware/scripts and trojans, etc.
I would go dor bitdefender; I'm running this on serveral windows workstations over here and I think it does a better job then Symantec.
